An adult must accompany children for the entire program.
Meet inside the Nature Discover Center.
Wear clothing appropriate to the outdoor weather on the day of the program (hats, sun glasses, rain jacket and so forth).
Bring bug repellent. Please apply repellent in the parking lot and not near the bird enclosures (our Avian Ambassadors thank you!).
Explore Birdsacre before or after the program! Check out the Nature Discovery Center. Ramble on Birdsacre’s many nature trails. Bring a snack or lunch to enjoy on the patio behind the Nature Discovery Center. Quietly visit with Birdsacre’s non-releasable Avian Ambassadors.
Tour - Birdsacre’s Avian Ambassadors
Learn more about Birdsacre’s avian residents, why they are at Birdsacre, what they teach us, and the best ways to enjoy them in their home in this 45-minute program led by members of Birdsacre’s team. The program content will vary, depending on which birds we visit. No registration needed, but quiet Owl Manners are required. Ages 6 and older. Program will take place rain or shine.

Nature Listening
Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature using all of your senses and capture your experiences in a cartoon art project. Ages 8-12. Registration closed.
Bird Walk
Rescheduling! Check back for new date! Spring is high time for migrating birds! Join us for a morning on Birdsacre’s trails, watching and listening for amazing songbirds. Ages 10-12.
Gardening for Birds and Butterflies
Learn about attracting more birds, butterflies and other pollinators to your yard! Help Birdsacre plant a small garden with native wildflowers and prepare seeds to take home and plant in your own yard. For ages 8-12. Registration closed.
