Spring / Summmer 2025 Hours

• The Nature Discovery Center and store open May 10, Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm.

• Join us for Family Programs.

• Check back for upcoming weekly programs to meet Birdsacre’s resident birds and for Stanwood Residence tours.

Entrance Gates

• The Main Entrance (High Street) gates that access the Sanctuary Grounds and trails are on a timer and automatically open at 9 am and close promptly at 5 pm daily. Once closed, these gates DO NOT open until the next day.

  To allow quiet time for our resident birds, there is no access to the Sanctuary Grounds from the Main Entrance between 5 pm and 9 am.

Quiet Area and Dog-Free Zone

• Birdsacre trails (beyond the Sanctuary Grounds) are open for hiking and dog walking from dawn to dusk and can be accessed after the Main Entrance gates close from the Deerfield Road Entrance and parking.

• Dogs are welcome on all our 6+ miles of trails except in the quiet area and dog-free zone marked around the enclosures.

  Thank you for helping our resident raptors feel more comfortable in their homes by keeping the Sanctuary Grounds around the enclosures quiet and dog-free.
